    Academics affiliated with Istanbul Gelişim University who have completed a doctoral degree, specialization in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, or proficiency in arts are eligible to apply.   

     
  2. Where can I submit a project application?
    Project applications can be submitted through the IGU BAPSIS system by accessing the relevant application section.

     
  3. What documents are required for project applications?
    The required documents vary depending on the project type. By completing the "General Project Application Form" in the system, applicants can view the necessary documents. Additionally, relevant regulations should be reviewed.

     
  4. How long does the project evaluation process take?
    The evaluation duration depends on the technical review, committee assessment, and referee evaluation processes.

     
  5. How is the project budget determined, and how are expenditures managed?
    The budget is determined by the project team uploading proforma invoices to the system during the application process. After project approval, the procurement unit purchases the budget items and delivers them to the project director.

     
  6. Can the project duration be extended?
    Yes, the project director can request a time extension through the system. The request is evaluated based on its justification and may be approved or rejected.

     
  7. How should project reports be prepared and submitted?
    Interim and final reports must be prepared in the prescribed format and uploaded to the BAPSIS system.

     
  8. Can changes be made to the project team?
    Yes, the project director may request changes to the team with a valid justification. Such requests must be approved by the relevant authorities.

    Ethical approval is required for research involving human or animal subjects. In such cases, the ethical approval document must be uploaded to the system during the application process.

    Yes, new team members can be added upon the project director's request, subject to approval by the relevant authority.

  16. When does an approved project commence?
    Once approved by the BAP-K Commission, the project director must obtain the contract from BAPSIS, complete the necessary signatures, and submit it to the BAP Coordination Office. The project officially begins upon submission of the signed contract.

    The final project report must be prepared and uploaded to the system within the designated project duration.

    Under exceptional circumstances, a project director change request may be submitted with justification and will be subject to evaluation by the BAP Commission.

  20. How can a project be canceled?
    The project director must submit a cancellation request along with a justification through the system. Upon completion of the approval process, the project will be officially canceled.
